Derived team has made the choice to switch to Discord since it has shown to be a trustworthy tool for community communication and participation, not to mention its growing popularity among crypto enthusiasts.
This enables users to quickly select the appropriate location for their queries or comments and receive the best possible responses.
As Derived Finance continues to gain traction in the DeFi market, we’re seeing increased interest from the community. We’ll have a #governance and #feedback channel (among many others) on the Discord server, where the team would be pleased to listen to feedback to improve the protocol.
Moreover, the Discord server will also have regional channels allowing members from across the globe to interact with each other. It will also enable the team to stay connected in a single group rather than being spread over multiple regional groups on Telegram.
The Discord server will take our interaction with the community to the next level. We intend to run a lot of activities, events, proposals and polls to closely integrate community feedback in to our product development.
Transition period
Please, note that Derived’s official Telegram group will stay alive, too. We’ll have a transition period of approximately 30 days, during which all official announcements will be published on both channels for better coverage. After the completion of 30 days (Edit: at a later date, to be announced), the discussion channels will be closed on Telegram and only Telegram Announcement channel will remain active.
